Tougher sport to start

What sport is harder to pick up, Lacrosse or Hockey?

Although I haven't played it, I would guess hockey just due to the whole skating factor. If someone doesn't skate well, doesn't matter if they have good stickhandling skills or a good shot.

I must be a complete moron then. I am a pretty good hockey player but I can not for the life of me cradle a ball or take a shot.

Well Gregg, you pretty much answered that one yourself!
I would definitely agree that standing on those skinny little blades makes it really difficult - then you've got to change direction and skate backwards to boot!
I say it's impossible...
