I DON'T THINK JOE CAN HANDLE THE PRESSURE THAT COMES WITH BEING AN ALL AMERICAN. TOWBEY KASSA WAS NEVER ON THAT LIST BECAUSE OF THE HIGH SCHOOL HE WENT TO, AND OPERON UNFORTUNATELY WENT TO SCHOOL VERY CLOSE TO TOWBEY'S.

BINGE FOR PRESIDENT!

I seriously doubt there is a "HIGH SCHOOL" bias that exsists in the USLIA. If that was the case then hardly any team would have any AAs up on the list. It would be dominated by BYUs Landon boys for example.

Makes it seems as if you ARE SHOUTING. It is hard to read, plus it's considered very poor ettiquette for the Internet.

I would put Lindenwood's Justin Combs on the list, he is a sick attackman who transfered from Towson.

Yeah, we're already getting ready for Mr. Combs and our game with Lindenwood.

Lulions-

How sick is Combs, what makes him good: speed, good left/right, scorer, dodger? Big time shooter, or big time assist man(quarterback)?

Also, I heard of some other kid, Butler transfer, how he stack up? Solid?

Justin's first cousin is Buggs Combs who played at Maryland, and became just the second Maryland player ever to score 50 goals in a single season, doing so in his senior year. He now is a top assistant at Towson. That might answer some questions.

The Butler transfer is midfielder, Zach Pashea who has been a pleasant addition.

I don't think that answers any questions.

Hey we get a shot at Combs first  See you guys at LU in a few weeks. From what I've heard he's going to be an instant impact and is an amazing player.

I do have to echo what someone said about Sutherland from Illinois.... great FOGO

That actually doesn't answer any questions......

Just because his brother was nasty and is an assistant.... doesnt mean talent runs in the fam. seems to be the case from leaving d1 to come play uslia....... and no its not the grades at towson.... it seems to be the playing time..

I know I am biased, but along with Jason Sutherland, who is a very solid offensive player and one of many excellent faceoff men on the Illinois team, Justin Hooper, if he plays up to his abilities and stays mentally in games, has a chance to make an impact on the all american list at the end of the season on defense, and John Katsis, in his senior year at goalkeeper, has the talent to be on the all american list as well. Of course I am no fool, without a conference championship and excellent showing against higher ranked teams such as FSU and Minn-Duluth, they have little shot. I think these players have the abilities, and thats why we play the season right.

I also think Billy Binge has a shot, I remember he was a solid player when I played against him his freshman year, if he has improved, I would think he would be on par with previous excellent attackman I had played against such as spatafora from arizona, burns, denenberg, hadwin from michigan, or Pike from texas A&M. Probably not caught up to the Steve Austin I saw in 2000 at BYU, but those were some good players and I can imagine he is nearing the abilities of that group from what I saw of him is freshman year. Sorry about any misspellings of players name wrote that off the top of my head and didn't check any of them.

AlumniLax,

IT WAS A JOKE...Joe and Towbey unfortunately went to public school while I, and other superior former Oakland teammates were blessed with a private school education.

(And yes, I was shouting that)

Wait are you serious? he has a cousin? that must make him unreal at lacrosse!
on a serious note, if you guys are talking pure specialty players don't forget BC's face off man Justin Ashenfelter who was second team all american last year and beat up on most face off men in st. louis last year.
