First Four pullout

Rumor has it that UCSD has pulled out of the First Four tournament @ USD. Apparently they don't want to pay the fees and play at an inferior venue in their own city. UCSB will probably just play UCSD at UCSD's home field on the same day.
If this is true it is too bad. But, apparently the tournament organizers have relegated this WCLL contest to the same venue as the high school games. It seems a shame to have these MDIA top 10 teams play each other in the middle of a high school tournament.
They could both save some money by playing at UCSD in a better facility without any First Four fees.
This is still not confirmed. It is a rumor at this stage but I am sure that other posters will set the record straight.
