Best of 2005 (NCAA) DVD

Just got it today, pretty good, lots of games. One question though, why do some goal nets have a solid patch in the center? Some do, some don't.

johns hopkins hangs flags in the center of their nets to honor those hopkins players that have died in war. there are probably other programs that place patches on their nets.

Also some of the televised games have microphones in the nets that they usually pad and tape so shots don't bust them up.
