NCAA Week 6 - I Love College Football Edition

Postby bste_lax on Sat Oct 15, 2005 10:58 pm

This Saturday shows you why college football is the greatest thing alive......behind lacrosse of course.

Big Ten is WIDE OPEN. If you would have told me that Iowa would be tied for first place midway through the Big Ten about 3-4 weeks ago, I would have laughed. I knew they would come back but with everyone beating up everyone else, wow.

Person I would hate to be this week: Minnesota's punter.

This week was great! How many close games can one weekend have? We had:

1) USC/Notre Dame
2) Alabama/Ole Miss
3) Michigan/Penn State
4) Minnesota/Wisconsin
5) Florida/LSU
6) Florida State/Virginia
7) UCLA/Washington State
8) Boston College/Wake Forest
9) Louisville/West Virginia
10) Oregon State/Cal
11) Missouri/Iowa State

Any others that I missed?

I think all of these games were decided by 7 points or less. Even our local college here in Sioux City got into the act. #4 Morningside College beat #3 U. of Sioux Falls 27-26. All in all, I'd say this was one of the best Saturdays of college football I've seen.

Oh yeah, and Nebraska went into Baylor and won. Hooray!

Correction: Minnesota's coaching staff for not properly coaching that young man. Bad snap on the 2 yard line? For the love of god, take the safety...

Agreed with the safety. You might even consider taking it regardless to get the free kick. I just want to know how Mason will lose the next one. He gets creative with these losses.

it truly was a great weekend for football. It would have only been better if Notre Dame, and Utah (yes utah even though they suck this year) had won. but otherwise it was some great games.
