Coming from Sonny's neck of the woods....this band called Cartel from Atlanta. Very catchy pop-punk. Saw them in concert a month ago, real cool guys to drink at the bar with as well. Their new album, "Chroma", came out two or three weeks ago. You can listen to most of it here, "The Minstrel's Prayer" is an awesome song Also suggest "Luckie St." and "IF I Fail":

Also been listening to another new band, Panic! at the Disco. They are on Pete from Fall Out Boy's new label, Decaydance Records. They sort of sound like FOB during "Dance, Dance" but add a keyboard to it. Songs I suggest, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom And Suicide Is Press Coverage", and "Time To Dance". Here are some of their songs:

That's about it for new stuff.

The Panic! at the Disco cd is the best album of the year in my eyes... or ears I should say. The cd is so unbelievably catchy that you will be walking down the street and the words will just enter your brain. The cartel cd is pretty good too. there was just something about their sound on this cd I didn't love. Coheed and Cambria also blew me away with their new cd. They are coming to IUP in a few weeks for a show and I cant wait to see them.
