Check out the video at the bottom of this page, this kid is either insanely good or the teams he's playing against are full of 5th graders.

well damn. im thinking insanely good. he reminds me of hodges mitchell, who i played with in HS. the better question is: were all those touchdowns he scored in the first 2:00 minutes of the clip in the first or thrid quarter of that game? OR did that one team finally just give up in the first quarter?
peace.

I saw that video in the Fall when it was making it's way around the Internet. Amazing stuff. He looks like the second coming of Walter Payton.

i'm sorry. his skills are good, but what about the competion. sure is wicked fast, but his size will get him killed in the best conference in the NCAA (SEC). not to mention, he will prob. be a UM guy being from south fla. which is a damn shame.

Hes a freshman and already 180 lbs. Im sure he will grow and be able to take any of the hits he receives in the SEC. Look at Warrick Dunn he was only about 185 in the pros and the SEC, and he is still doing well.

Noel Devine update: He is moving to Texas to live with Deion Sanders, who is trying to adopt him as his son. Devine parents have been dead for 3 years (dont know why) and he has been living with a friend ever since. he will play in Prosper, which is 3A in TX.

i feel bad for all you miami guys, this cements his trip to FSU and his jersey being #2.
peace.

If that is the case, then he is moving from one hotbed (Florida) to another (Texas). Any kid who can run like that in Texas, California, Florida, or Pennsylvania is the real deal (I will give honorable mention to Louisiana, Tennessee and the Chicago-Land area).

... though I cannot help but think that being adopted by Deion Sanders seems like a poor idea?

There were a few highlights where he broke some tackles and made some good cutbacks, but most of them his offensive line made some gaping holes and once he got into the secondary he was gone. His WR's who also looked fast were always downfield blocking as well. No doubt he looks good, but he definitely had some help. He wasnt the one man show like Barry Sanders.

For sure, but you have to give credit to his ability to cut back and also be patient with his blocks. I agree 100% though, his offensive line was doing a fantastic job.

the fact that you are comparing a hs freshman to barry sanders says all that needs to be said.

nothing good can come out of him moving in with neon deion.
