Don't sell yourself short Tommy, your pretty dang fast yourself. We had some pretty good battles up there in Blaine and I still think I have a couple bruises from you.

There is no disrespect to all the other great Players in the league. I just have the opinion that Cory earned better then what he recieved. I did not make the Davidson game due to having to take care of my Sons for Medical reasons from the Accident in March. I have watched video tape of the game and looking at Pictures that Davidson had 2-3 guys on Cory the whole game it seemed and that says a lot right there.
There were a lot of things going on with the Liberty Team in that game and I wish I could have been there. It really came down to the fact that my Family had to come first. I sure wish we had Chad Gurney in the cage and we ran a Zone Defense. Maybe that would have made a difference but from what I can see Davidson has a really great Team. Cutting off Cory in the Liberty Offense was very smart on the part of Davidson because it took out most of the Liberty Offense. But now the Team belongs to Tom Mettallo and that is his call on what the team runs. It does not look like Cory is coming back and is heading for the NCAA next year. Tom is a great guy but we have a difference of opinion on Defense.
Liberty has 2004 All American Michael Dean returning next year from a Knee injury and some strong recruits coming in next year and still should be strong in the SELC Division B.
I'm over all of this and my focus is on getting my health back and that may be harder now then once thought. I will be moving to my home in New Mexico this fall and will be helping out with putting a USL MDIA Team at the University of New Mexico and that is my focus for now. Congrats to Davidson and a fine showing at Nationals for the SELC.
