I find this too funny if people are really sending in money.

Yeah i've seen the site before... its hilarious. I can't believe people that care about animals would be stupid enough to send the guy money, because 1. if he is getting money from people there is no stopping him from doing something like it again or having a friend do it 2. he may still even kill the rabbit no matter what.

i think that if the guy isn't getting money from actualy people that care about animals than he might just be a smart guy thats putting all the money in the account himself... by doing this, the people that think its hilarious that idoit animal rights people are giving him money will give the guy money (even if its just a dollar) just because the think its hilarious... or they'll buy a shirt because the think its funny.

personally i don't think he's getting that much money from actual animal rights people but that he's putting a decent amount of his own money in there and he's making most of his money off shirts and people just donating because they think its funny.

etherway the idea is so stupid that its genius... if thats possible

It was on NBC Nightly News a few nights ago. People are really getting in a huff about it...

I have heard rumors that it could be a hoax? In which case, would the website be considered illegal for collecting money under false pretenses?

What is illegal about that? Tax Day (April 15th) is this Friday! :)

That's a serious operation...did y'all check out the variety of gear for "sale"? You can buy a wider variety of Toby stuff than you can for some colleges. I sure hope that it's not a hoax because this guy is showing some serious entreprenurial (sp?) skills.
