When you combine that with some of his recent statements on this board in other threads and possibly on another board, it could very well be interpreted as boasting or trash talking. Here's an example of a post that appeared on another board that may or may not be the same poster:
well we have to wait till next year to see about the ucsb game, but they act like they are so good. so does sonoma. we should have beat them this year, but they got lucky. they are a good team, but not good enough for NDNU.
