empire summer league
My players are asking me about summer league... when does registration begin? Has anything been decided about added locations and/or format changes

Usually after the playoffs a spreadsheet is sent out to the league contacts to collect the info, then it is sent back in for the draft. Whoever checks their league account should be getting an email in the next two weeks.
I would imagine the location is Holy Angels and I believe the time frame is Wednesday night games starting at 5pm going to 10pm with 25 minutes running halves. The league usually runs for 6 or 7 weeks with one week break for the 4th of July. Cost is $90 and whatever else your captain charges you for team shorts, if you want them

I'll try to get a registration form out to teams tomorrow.
The Empire Summer League is open to any men's player who is over 18 and been out of high school for at least 1 academic year.
If you'd like a registration form, PM me your email address.

If you are on a UMLL team, I will be sending the form to your team and you will register in one group. You will not, necessarily, be placed on the same team.

CL - can you confirm (or anybody else reading) that the draft has happened and, even if you haven't been contacted by your captain, everybody must show up to AHA tomorrow night at 5:00 pm (???) to throw down money and grab a jersey? Also, if you haven't been contacted by now is it safe to assume you are a free agent?

Will the players signed up for this get any e-mails or something to know when and where they need to show up/pay?

Captains should contact their teams after the draft. If you signed up and no one contacts you, I'll have a master list so show up at AHA on the 28th and we'll got you on the appropriate team.

Would it be possible to post the teams? I know their are trades made on the 28th but I would like to see the teams, make predictions, and spend other worthless hours on these forums

Draft was last night. Expect an email or phone call from your captain soon. If you signed up and were:
1.) Not contacted
2.) Placed on the wait list
OR
If you want to try to get on a team as a free agent
you need to be at Holy Angels on Wednesday 28-May at 6:30pm prepared to pay the $100 league fee.
If you cannot appear on Wednesday, you need to make arrangements to pay your league fees in advance. After all draftees have paid, we will proceed to fill rosters firt from the wait list and then from free agents.
Nobody will have a roster spot held without payment.
The schedule will be distributed on Wednesday. Games begin on June 4th.
