Will BC's balanced scoring attack help them or hurt them at nationals?

On one hand it creates a problem for defenses having to prepare for 6-10 players.

On the other hand, is there a go to guy on the BC team?

I think you can make a case for both. Hopefully, they can take advantage of the defensive match ups that are working best for them. In a close game though, it's nice to have that player you know can take the ball and score.

Well, the balanced scoring did help BC they came up just a little bit short, in what i think has been the best game of the tournament so far.

Although they lost BC showed it can play with the best in the country and since they are graduating only 6 seniors, they will be a force in the coming years as well.

This was a big game not only for the BC program but for the whole PCLL. With two teams making the tournament last year and BC taking BYU all the way, it gives legitimacy to the league. BU, Northeastern, UNH and others should take advantage of this and along with BC look to make noise in out of conference games during the regular season. Hopefully BC can pull some good teams to Boston who look to get a couple of games from BU and Northeastern in the process.

All in all, a disappointing loss for the boys in Maroon and gold, but they left us with one incredible game and a good name for the league.

how did BC look in the other games?

I heard they beat FSU by one on Wed. I don't think any consolation games were played on Thursday b/c of the weather and poor field conditions.

Its a pretty national draw. We get most of our players from the Northeast (lots of MA and Long Island kids), but we also get a lot of kids from private schools all over the country (we had 2 starters from Texas, 1 from California). BC is lucky in that it has the big university feel and great academics, so it draws a lot of players away from D3 schools. A lot of players on the team had opportunities to play at D3 schools, but chose BC for various reasons.
