Has anyone checked out/played with the Deuce? Im a pretty big fan of STX heads usually. But i don't like heads that light... wondering if anyone has an insight...

deuce

I recently bought the deuce for Christmas, and I really liked it at first, especially how pinched it is at the throat. My problem with it is that I had it for about 3 weeks before it broke down on the sidewall (down where pretty much every stick ends up breaking). Then after another few days, it broke right up top when I was shooting and my follow-through hit another ball someone had thrown in (kind of a freak occurrence). So bascially I like the head itself, but I really don't know how sturdy it is.

Interesting... i wonder if that was a situational problem or an actual structural problem... anyone else play with it- how is it?

I first got the head about a month ago and I absolute loved it.......however, I've only been able to play with it about a week out of that time. I broke the first one within 2 days, just from basic passing and catching, then broke the new one they sent me after a week of use. I had the same thing happen where it broke on the sidewall but was still able to do things with it, then the top broke right after it. If STX could find a way to make it more durable it would be great, but until then I wouldn't recommend it.
