Anyone have experience with this shaft yet?

Interesting specs on this:

Short: 200 grams
Defense: 389 grams

Compared to a Kryptolyte c405

Short: 165 grams
Defense: 430 grams

That's pretty light...may be worth it for a long stick.

something just seems so odd when a company goes on the stance of Last Stick You Will Ever Buy....but if you do break it replace it up to 9 times. Just seems like they shouldn't be saying its the last stick you will ever buy. After 9 times you will need to buy another one.

i heard from a fairly reliable source its a basic AL shaft with ribs in the middle. He said it felt awkward and it has dented already. Probably not worth the money

Awesome...Justin Combs stories never, and I mean never, get old. The only thing that could be better is if we discovered that Justin Combs posts under the lax screen name.

This stick is made out of 6061 material...which is the same as the Adidas Response shaft...which is garbage. I am sure the thicknesses are not the same. But I can imagine this thing dinging all over the place and curving.

For $200 dollar for 1 shaft and 9 replacements...you can get 10 crappy Warrior 2000 or whatever they are called and have the same results.

Or you can get 3 DB 803 dpoles and call it a day.

I read some of the posts on the web site from people who have purchased this, and so far, the "denting" and "Dinging" is already happening. They are replacing the D Shaft with old inventory, but are "going back" to recreating a new pole. So I guess we'll see.........

I got to talk to the father yesterday following their game and word is a new alloy is being used for future shafts.

Don't know details about when they'll be implemented. I can say that those that are currently out there leave room for improvement, saw a shorty bend to 70 degrees (when used as a toll gate between two pickers) in Tuesday's game and of course it tore when I tried to bend it back.

The juicy tidbit the creator gave me was that when the new d-pole was suspended between two vices he could stand in the middle. While he's not my size, it still sounded impressive.

Hopefully he's wise enough to get it patented, like Flip, we all know how it doesn't take long for others to jump on new tech . . . the means to duplicate.
