Fury Bests Yona in Inaugural CJCLA All-Star Game

The best lacrosse players in the state of California came together on December 7th to participate in the first ever California Junior College Lacrosse Association All-Star game. Hailing from up and down the state, student-athletes proudly represented the institutions of Diablo Valley College, Santa Rosa Junior College, American River College, Cuesta College and Santa Barbara City College.

Student-athletes selected were divided into two teams, Team Yona & Team Fury. “Yona” is the Cherokee word for “Bear” and the phrase, “Yona Fury,” has been adopted by the CJCLA to represent the furious growth of junior college lacrosse throughout the great state of California...
