With its sweep of, and convincing wins over their fellow community college lacrosse opponents, the Diablo Valley College Vikings have been awarded the first ever California Junior College Lacrosse Association’s (CJCLA) Championship. In earning “The Little Oak Barrel,” the symbol of the CJCLA and its championship “trophy,” the Vikings compiled a 5-0 record and outscored its opponents 63-18, averaging 12.6 goals per game while limiting their opponents to only 3.5 goals per game.
