Coach Nick Shaw is slated to be be the first head lacrosse coach at Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) in Santa Rosa, CA. Shaw, 25, brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to SRJC, a charter member of the CJCLA. Graduating from San Marin High school in 2006 as a 2 sport Athlete, Shaw excelled in both football and lacrosse. Garnering league honors in both sports, Shaw went onto Arizona State University as a middle linebacker under Coach Dennis Erickson. A severe leg injury ended Shaw’s football career, but didn’t slow his lacrosse career. Transferring to Notre Dame De Namur, Shaw closed out his Division II lacrosse career as an accomplished face-off midfielder for the Argonauts.
