Good luck to all UMLL teams this weekend espesially ISU and Marquette on their trips south and to the U and UMD in what I imagine will be some great OOC games at Augsburg and Rosemount.

Marquette will be playing at the Max McCook Performance Center in McCook, IL, which is a suburb of Chicago. Just about the only indoor facility in the Milwaukee/Chicago areas available for rent.
As far as the other games, I personally don't like prediciting wins/losses for a weekend, but I get the impression from seeing the scores from Nebraska and Arkansas' early games that Iowa State should have a tough time down there. With that said, I hope the Cyclones can bring back two big wins for the UMLL.
And I echo what Eric said, best of luck to Minnesota and UMD at what I imagine is the 2nd Annual Chris Jenkins Invitational? Unfortunately we can't make it to support you guys again this year, but we're wishing you and the Jenkins family the best. I would also venture to guess Minnesota could pull what most would consider an upset this weekend - would definitely be awesome for them and the league.
5 games being played this weekend by UMLL teams against Top 25 teams. I would venture to guess this is a great step for the league in continuing to build credibility across the country. To become the best you have to play the best, right? Best of luck to everyone.

And this is one large reason why the UMLL continues its improvement every year. Almost none of us are just "sitting at home" - we're all going out and seeking to better our teams via competition and hard work.
Well done Gentlemen. And good luck to all teams this weekend.

From Stillwater:
Bethel - 6
St John's - 12
Bethel goalie played very well, just took on too many shots. Had 20 saves but SJU outshot Bethel 54-17 (including shots off goal). Bethel also did a good job with some individual defense and clearing the ball in tight coverage. Bethel only had a couple shots in the 4th quarter, partly due to how well SJU was possessing the ball. Both man downs went 4 for 4. For only having a half dozen subs, Bethel once again did a great job working hard the whole game.

CSU was up 6 - 0 at the end of one, and I think 9 - 0 at the end of the first half.
We got a goal or two in the third and did our best to play tough the rest of the game. I feel like we improved our play, and gave them a run in the fourth quarter.
My hat's off to CSU for giving us a solid beating. I'd love to break the game down for you guys, but with a game tomorrow, I simply can't comment on my team's performance.
Thanks to everyone who came out. Really good attendance for both games.
Jan and Steve Jenkins will be very happy when they hear about the turnout.
BC just put in the third goal of the first quarter, Rob just got a time out. Hopping over to the live updates for the rest of the game.
