Some good matchups for D1 teams against the WCLL. I hope our guys continue to play well and show much talent we have up here in the NW!

ill start the ITS TO EARLY TO PREDICT week in the D2 ranks. UPS is the only undefeated team as of right now, honestly i was not seeing that take place, however whitman is underrated, they have two very very quick attackman, western and centrals D have there hands full trying to stop them, IF whitman comes out this weekend 2-0 you HAVE to look to them as the favorite, UPS got past them in overtime, that close a game and a sweep this weekend should pop them into at least top 15 in the next polls. should be an exciting weekend....

I personally can't wait to see how Montana does against U-Dub and SF as both teams appear to be playing very well right now. Hope you guys don't get stuck at the border for too long.
Why must people continue to try and predict a front-runner in the D2? It is still very early in the season. There are way too many very meaningful games left to even touch that subject.
What we do know is that the 6 teams that make the PNCLL D2 playoffs will provide for some extremely exciting battles.
Good luck to all the PNCLL teams playing OOC games this week.

I can't remember the last time Whitman was ranked in the top 15. Maybe my freshman year back in '99?
I think the Whitman/Western game is going to be a fierce battle, the likes of which Ankeny Field hasn't seen between these two teams in some years. I'm also looking forward to you guys hopefully continuing the recent winning streak against Central. Central seemed like a talented group last year when I saw them play, but they just didn't have much chemistry. It sounds like they've put those problems behind them this season.
Glad to hear Coach Schmitz is back on the sidelines, where he belongs.

Hey UPS and any other teams to whom this applies, could you get the numbers filled in on your roster? I was trying to figure out who number 11 is, but you don't have an 11 or a Pedro listed. I thought he played the best game I've seen out of a UPS middie since Milhiser my freshman year.

"Pedro" is actually Pete Dills. . .and he is a very under-rated midfielder. . .
And yes, I agree, Kyle needs to get on the ball and get the jersey numbers of his players registered at our site right away.

Kyle's probably out looking for anti-Idaho t-shirts....

I found those shirts, you saw them... and to add, I asked our highly paid president how to edit the jersey numbers, he didn't know.... & was going to get back to me. Weird, he never did.... Maybe we should renegotiate his stipend.
We had to do our roster before we handed out jerseys, so they didn't have numbers assigned. Now it's frozen & won't let me edit them. If anyone knows what to do, I'll get on the numbers no problem.
#11 Peter "Pedro" Dills... This will be his 3rd season playing lacrosse. He's a great athlete & works as hard as anyone. He quit baseball after his freshman year & we were lucky enough to have him. He may not score a lot of points, but he does all the little things I love to see from the sidelines. Great all around player & person. Completely different player than Liam, but I'll take as many of both as I can get. It's nice to hear other people notice the little things a player does to make the team better.

Yeah, and they did make me laugh. If my committee doesn't sign off on my dissertation pretty soon I might have to buy one!

Send Daryl Fernquist the numbers for each player -- he can edit your roster after it is locked

Wow. . .that was a nice post. Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?
And with respect to my preview article, my apologies to UW's Joey Cramer, whose name I misspelled in the article. I'll get it right next week Joe.
