Why? Similar scores have been posted against WSU in the past, a 30-point margin of victory isn't unprecedented.

Welcome back!!! It takes time to build a program back up. Maybe not the nicest welcome back but they were playing an experienced duck team.

yea that is a really high score but i am gonna go ahead and guess that the ducks pulled their starters early in the game. its not like they are looking to make any kind of statement against a new team, that is just the kind of depth that oregon has on their team. unless oregon played their starters the entire time, which i doubt, there is nothing "unclassy" about this. its not fair to the backups on the team to sit back and watch, and then when they finally do get in for a coach to tell them they are not allowed to score, you let them play and if they run the score up then good for them

but Oregon played their last mid line early in the 1st qtr. Cougs only had 14 players as well. 6 didnt' make the trip. It was painful for everyone, including Oregon players, but what can you do. Oregon played everyone, early, pulled back, worked on plays, etc. Give credit to the cougs for hanging in and playing hard. Good goalkeeping for Oregon stopped some great shots.

I like to see box score for Oregon vs. Washington State.
