I just found out why Chris Powers is not on the Cougars roster this season. Because he is on the Bears roster instead. Is he in the hunt for the starting spot? Good luck to him.

I've known
Chucky since he was 13 years old. He has always had two goals; to win a National Championship and to be an architect. He achieved the first one last year and is on to the next one at NYiT.
He has two seniors in front of him but definitely will get some pt this year. Expect to see him in the cage on Memorial Day weekend sometime in the next few years and a second National Championship. I guarantee it!

Chucky's a bad boy. I scored a behind the back on him back in high school i remember well. I think that was the last time i scored on him.

Brick wall that guy.

Not surprisingly, Chucky started and was credited with both of NYiT wins against Wingate and St. Michael's these last two weeks. It looks like Jack is starting Chucky and trying to determine his back-up in these early season games. Check it out

NYiT 9, Mercyhurst 8 OT
"....Mercyhurst had a great opportunity to win it in regulation, but NYIT goal keeper junior Chris Powers (Salt Lake City, Utah) saved the game with a point blank save on Witt's shot with just two seconds to play...."

Just talked to Chucky; they will practice in Gillette Stadium this afternoon and also have a walk-thru on Saturday. They will watch one of the Semi's on Sat and do some media stuff that afternoon.
He's so ready - I can tell by the tone of his voice.

i am so happy for chuck. if anyone deserves a championship, it's him. now next year, we'll see if we can get any of his defense to slide and help him out.
