These are the big games for the week. My predictions are probably a little off since it is so early in the season, but I'll try it again.
Arizona vs UCSB at Santa Barbara: Rematch of last years WCLL final. Both teams are coming off losses. Arizona will be looking to avenge their loss to UCSB last season and their loss last weekend to Cal Poly. UCSB has a lot to prove after a loss to BYU. I can't remember the last time Arizona beat UCSB at home...probably 8-10 years ago.
Cal Poly vs UC Santa Barbara at Santa Barbara: Some of you may be expecting an upset, but I don't see that happening. As far as I know, Cal Poly is a one man show (Kweller). Don't expect UCSB to let him touch the ball. This will be UCSB's first game on the PIT this year (2nd in two years). Plus they have a new scoreboard and stands to show off.
California vs Sonoma at SSU: I know there is some hype out there about Stanford, but Cal looks to be the only team in Northern California that has a chance at beating Sonoma. Will it happen? Probably not. Especially since the game is at SSU.
Arizona vs San Diego at San Diego: I like this as the upset of the week. Second year in Division 1 for USD. Arizona might be a little worn out from the road trip and caught off guard.
Loyola Marymount vs San Diego State at SDSU: I see SDSU coming out on top.
Michigan vs Arizona State at ASU: I hate to root against Michigan and I hate to root for ASU, but I see ASU coming out on top in this one. They have too much fire power for Michigan. The only way I see Michigan winning is if they bring out the zone defense.

It was 2001, and it was Arizona by a goal. The pit went nuts. Bottles and other items flying onto the field. Heck of a game.

hmmmm....
I will take UCSB over Arizona
AND over Cal Poly..they are not going to lose at home twice...Allan won't let that happen.
Cal vs Sonoma should be good. As much as I like Cal this year, Sonoma will win one last year at home.
USC Claremont is a push...SC needs to focus away from home. ..SC will have some more firepower than they had last weekend.
LMU vs SDSU...will LMU score enough points...don't let me down i've been reping you all year.
NDNU will crush Davis. I wouldn't even schedule this game. really.
ASU over Michigan...PAC-10 homer pick.

I was at the Arizona/USD game. I liked what I saw from AZ. They seem to be a very athletic team with a couple of really good shooters. I think they might be a team that gets better as the season goes on. I thought USD played hard the whole game but couldn't match Arizona's talent or offensive discipline.
