What should we expect from these two teams this season?

Im not real familiar with the owls, but a&m, from what i have seen, should be back with a good team. With a good showing at their own tourney I imagine they will be competing for the LSA title again. However, they have lost a few key players with tabb, turbow and knepper all gone to name a few. They will need some new middies to step up if they want the same success as last season, but if they get the recuiting class that im hearing they are, that shouldn't be a problem.
...Then again they could implode like a supernova, there's really no way of knowing...

Nice to see a return from DuelingDragons.
Also nice to see a return from me.
The season should definitely be an exciting one. If the A&M Fall Tournament holds any merit to how teams will fare this year, there will be plenty to look forward to. While the Aggies had both solid goaltending and defense, it seemed their offense was the weaker of the three. Although I suppose it's a little unfair to critique a team learning how to play with each other. That is, after all, what the fall is for.
I also am looking forward to the weekend of April 4th through the 6th. Lots of great divisional matchups that will probably determine how the playoffs shape up. The big showdown of course being A&M at UT for an LSA south battle royale.

I think that the A&M goaltender Jolly as a sophomore has a chance to be really good. He was great in the LSA Championships last year. I look for them to pretty solid all year and will be strong on the defensive end. It will be interesting with the loss of Turnbow and Tabb to see what kind of Offensive punch they will have. Those guys have been offensively very consistent over the last 4 years.
Don't know much about Rice, but I am sure A&M does.

thats too bad for both teams. Im sure a&m would have liked to get some extra game experience in before a big weekend in the DFW area where they will face off with both SMU and NT. And Rice might have gotten some good experience by starting off with a top 25 team.
