Texas Lone Star Invitational Weekend - Feb 11, 12 and 13th

The North Texas Chapter of US Lacrosse and the Lone Star Alliance are proud and excited to announce their inaugural Lone Star Invitation Lacrosse Tournament and Weekend.

The venue will be the newly renovated University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) intramural fields and the state-of-the art UTA Maverick Stadium. The participants will be 15 of the regions premiere college lacrosse teams along with a handful of the areas Men’s Club and High School Varsity teams.

This Lone Star Invitational showcase is by far the most competitive and comprehensive field of lacrosse that has ever assembled in the Southwest.

In addition to three full days, and nights, of great lacrosse, on Sunday afternoon Ryan Powell will lead a skills and position clinic geared towards Youth and High School players of all skill levels. Space will be limited so early registration is strongly encourage.

The prestigious field of ‘A’ level teams include: Auburn University, Colorado State University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, and the University of Texas.

Current ‘B’ level teams include: Austin College, Ferris State University, Nicholls State University, St. Johns University - Minnesota, Texas Christian University, Trinity University, University of California - Irvine, and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Quick Facts Date: Friday, Saturday & Sunday February 11-13, 2005
Time: Friday 7-10pm, Saturday 9am-11pm, Sunday 9am-3pm
Location: UTA Intramural Fields and UTA Maverick Stadium
Cost: $5.00 per day or $10 for the weekend (Clinic is extra)
Format: Full-Length Regulation NCAA Games
Spotlight Games: Texas A&M vs. Colorado State University
University of Texas vs. Auburn University

Another spotlight game should be the Top-5 B Division matchup between #4 St John's and #5 UT-Arlington.
