RMLC Website - RMLAX.com - Assistance Request

Hey guys - we've got a few things could use some volunteer assistance with this spring for the RMLC website...

1. Fantasy League Development

Our website design group is actively working on developing a fantasy league for the MCLA as a whole - through RMLAX.com. We could use some input from anyone experienced with a project such as this, and perhaps some assistance in it's functionality come spring, 2008. We are developing the league to be automatically run by the system, but could use an administrator to oversee this operation.


2. Weekly Match-Ups Predictions Feature

We will be launching a new feature on RMLAX.com in which a panel of individuals predict the game winners for each week of RMLC games. Similar to ESPN's: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent

We'll need someone that can put together a list of each week's games and then pass that on to someone that can enter them into the site, and then a panel of 7-8 individuals (preferably of diverse background, past institutions & teams, etc.) to select the game winners. Your "Season Record" will be recorded as the selections progress.


3. Bloggers/Columnists

We would like to feature a blog or two of individuals that travel with teams - see a lot of games - or just religiously follow the RMLC. We'll give you the webspace, the access, and all the freedom in the world to share with us your "Column" (which you can also title your own way) - in which you display your creative thinking and analysis of events with the rest of our conference fans. Think Flip's CSU Journal - only on our RMLC website - open to anyone that would like to contribute.


4. Graphic Artists

We would like to have access to individuals with graphic art talents for the occasional design request.

For instance:
Designing virtual trophies for matchups (such as CU vs. CSU, East Champion, West Champion, or others that encompass other conferences and overall records)

A new/alternate RMLC logo

New RMLC t-shirts and sweatshirts

New RMLC All-Star uniforms

New RMLC All-Conference awards, etc.

It wouldn't be much of a workload - and no one's going to pressure you to "get it done" - just an occasional design here or there, on anything you think you can help look better for us. Payment may be available as we begin to develop sources of income for the conference (ie. merchandise sales, playoff sponsors, website sponsors, etc. - all of which your designs would help us generate.)
