However, with that being said, they did contact me and several other teams about setting up games this spring. I heard rumors that they backed out of some games last fall when they were trying to get things started.....can anyone confirm or deny this?

Posted: Mon Nov 19, 2007 11:39 amPitt State was unable to play a scheduled game at Rolla last spring. They had not received their team equipment in time.
I believe they did play Newman University last year twice, in a home and away series. One of my former players, who was a Newman assistant coach, said Pitt State traveled light, approximately 11 players, and had approximately 16 players for their home game.
I believe Pitt State also missed a weekend of games at Harding last spring.
