Watch out for Eau Claire's attack this year. They moved the ball very well in this tourney, and showed great finishing skills.
This is by far the best attack unit the team has ever had.
Eau Claire is deffinately improved over last year.
Thanks Coach

Noah, I would just like to thank you for your compliment, backhanded albeit since I put up 17 goals this fall and graduate in two months...just kidding man, I know what you mean, the whole team looks a lot better and I really wish I could still be here in the spring rather then working a real job[/quote]

Noah, thanks for warning the competition! Aargh.
Who am I kidding? I can't stay mad at you and your big puppy dog eyes. Good seeing you again.

I'm really not surprised to see UWEC coming around (I know it's only fall ball and nothing to get excited about until proven in season, just like any other team). I remember conferring with my coach after a pretty lopsided victory against UWEC my junior or senior year and coming to the conclusion that they would be pretty darn good soon. It looks like that is coming to fruition. I know there was a lot of debate about UST and SJU gong to Div. I last year mostly due to conference dominance over the past 2 years, but it appears that if if UWEC can grow the way they have over the past 5+ years, that other teams won't be too far behind. This competitive increase is a good thing for the conference without a doubt.

St. Thomas and St. Johns are teams that UWEC strives to compete with.

i believe most teams in division 2 strive to be like SJU and UST. i know here in moorhead we have tried to enstil features like those of SJU and UST but have yet to come to fruitation.
however, the line of parity in division 2 is narrowing. UWEC sounds very much improved and under the leadership of Joe Foster there are bound by nothing.
NDSU is not very far from competiting with UST and SJU as well. They look very good this fall and during our f/m indoor box league it appears that they have quite a few guys that can handle and move the ball look for them to surprise quite a few.
Bethel, Carleton, UND have all vastly improved from what i have seen. i believe this year and many more to come will show the parity that will inevitably develop in div.2 with more and more high school programs going varsity and the influx of players coming into the college programs
