ACI has a new name

Albertson College of Idaho has officially changed its name to simply The College of Idaho.
This was the original name of the college from 1891 - 1991. The Albertson name was added 16 years ago. The name was changed back in order to entice some older alumni, who felt disconnected after the Albertson name was added, to re-connect with the college and feel more inclined to donate.
So ACI no longer works. It is now C of I
Also, as a side note, I was able to check out some of the Gem State Tournament today, and there are some teams who are doing better than expected. Watch out for Idaho this year. They beat Utah State and took Boise State to double overtime. That program is heading the right direction. Perhaps it is due to the increased amount of high school teams in the Northern Idaho area.
