Oklahoma Face-Off Classic
Posted: Mon Oct 08, 2007 10:28 amThe University of Oklahoma is Hosting our second annual Oklahoma Face-Off Classic next spring from March 28 to March 30, 2008. You would get a guaranteed 3 games with teams attending. We all ready have commitments from Texas Tech and Nebraska to play in this tournament. We are also in negations with our AD to play all games on the John Crain Field at the OU Soccer Complex (http://www.soonersports.com/facilities/ ... mplex.html) for all of the games. Right now you would get at least one of your games on what UNM coach John Westfall claimed to be the best field in the MCLA in John Crain Field.
This event is also sponsored by both Red Bull and Under Armour along with a host of other companies, making no entry fees at all for all teams who come. The only fee would be splitting the ref fees with the other teams due to the neutral Location (we're working on cutting this cost too) and travel expenses. We are also working closely with local hotels in Norman as well as the Norman Chamber of Commerce to work deals with all teams coming to make the trip a little easier
