It appears that Kennesaw State and U of Georgia are playing in the scaled down club tournament with several southern men's club teams (So. Empire, Atlanta, Memphis, Birmingham, etc.)

Should be good stuff, weather permitting.

(Men's Team) Charlotte was very good last year, hope to see them again.

they are not coming. Could not stand the heat of my pressure defense from last year when we (Southern Empire) beat them by one for the title....

too bad- charlotte always brings solid squad

They did... a whole new look to that squad to say the least. A team that used to be dominated with Auburn and UT guys now almost has no guys from those squads it seems.
Mostly ex-DI and DIII guys now who are very good.

Southern Empire- boy we are getting old. Some great play by some young guys but just not enough in the tank at the end.

UGA looked solid with only limited numbers. They impressed a lot of people throughout the weekend. Especially the play by an alum of theirs (#12) who played amazingly at middie and was the key to their weekend run.

KSU was there but had a rough time of it. They were great sports though. never hung their heads and fought hard all weekend. Credit to them and Coach's of that team.

Hey, the AU guys still make up most of that roster. There just happened to be a wedding we had to attend, so we couldn't make it. We will be in BHam next month.

I would take Garibaldi, Bazar, and Slattery over those D1/D3 guys anytime. Definitely not myself, but those 3 guys for sure.

that probably explains why the team won

Nice one

True, the team just doesn't seem to have the same zest for night life when the AU guys aren't in attendance. It is tragic when a men's club trades W's for a fun night at the Cheetah.

hahaha....that alum had some key faceoffs as well!

I am never playing middie again, i could barely walk to my car afterwards.

Even though we only had about 12 guys all weekend, it was great to play with them again. Matt Smith had ridiculous saves as usual.
