Teams Participating in NIU Fall Classic: Looks to be some great games with a bunch of schools from all over. In my opinion, UW Madison and Illinois State are the favorites, but it is fall ball, so anyone could win.

This is always a great tournament, and anyone who wants to come out to cheer or watch some great lacrosse is more than welcome to show up. Dates are Oct 20-21 in Dekalb, IL

Bowling Green
UW Madison

Augustana
Purdue

Iowa
N. Illinois

E. Illinois
N. Michigan

Loyola
UW Whitewater

Marquette
Michigan Tech

Depaul
Illinois State

MSOE
UW Milwaukee

Kansas State will be hosting the Tillar Classic during the first weekend of November, 3rd and 4th, for any teams interested. Facility is Alumni Stadium on KSU's campus, sportturf field. Preference will be given to GRLC teams.

Last year's event drew 6 teams from around the region.

If interested, please contact KSU Lacrosse at either:

Dordt has UNO and Creighton this saturday in Omaha. Both should be good games as I am sure we all have new guys who need to be broken in to the game.

We also will be playing USD during our Parents Weekend on saturday, Oct. 20th in Sioux Center. No doubt it will be like all of our other Parent's Weekend games against USD, cold with chances of snow...

Results from a beautiful day in Omaha...

Dordt-5
Creighton-4

Dordt-11
UNO-0

Good opportunity for all three teams to get our new guys some play time. The games had the usual first game curses, sloppy ground balls, poor passing, lots of loose ball pushes, etc. All in all, two pretty good games. Thanks to Coach Gilner and the Jays for lining up a fun saturday for us.

Dordt vs. USD at 4pm on Saturday the 20th in Sioux Center for our annual Parent's Weekend game.

Dordt-10
USD-1

Great day for lax in Sioux Center, probably over 250 fans, and for once it wasn't freezing cold on our Parent's Weekend.
USD had a short bench but hustled and played hard. Dordt came out strong but had some issues on O throughout the game. Fun game and relatively clean, refs did a really nice job today. Thanks to USD for making the trip!
