Gaffney, SC - Limestone College Senior Associate Athletics Director and Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Mike Cerino has announced that Jeremy DaRin has joined the Saints athletics staff. DaRin will serve as an assistant coach for the men’s lacrosse team and as the Director of Athletics Tutorial Services for the athletics department.
“Jeremy is a bright, hardworking young coach,” said Cerino. “We are very excited he’s joining our athletics department and working with our student-athletes.”
DaRin comes to Limestone from NCAA Division I’s Syracuse University where he served as the goalie coach and defensive assistant and assisted with recruiting since 2005. He also has coaching experience as the head assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Oswego State University and Oneonta State College in New York. He began his coaching career at Onondaga Community College where he founded the school’s highly successful lacrosse program as he was the squad’s head coach from 2000-2001.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in health promotion from Coastal Carolina University and is pursuing a graduate degree in health policy from the University of Binghamton in New York.
A native of Liverpool, N.Y., DaRin was a varsity letterwinner in lacrosse, wrestling, football and volleyball at Liverpool High School.
