any recommendations on what company to go with for chartering a coach? i.e. reasonably priced, good service/availability, etc.

Check out who the athletic department uses. Usually they work with student groups also and that can be a huge help.

Badger Coaches was pretty good to us, but they are based in Milwaukee, so that might not fly since you are in Mankato, MN

Very convenient site! I just put in a request from 5 companies for a trip we are taking in March. Already received two quotes back via email. Very nice that it cuts out the middle man!
