Final Hotter n' Hell Tournament Schedule - July 28-29

Postby LaxC21 on Wed Jul 25, 2007 3:27 pm

Due to some constraints by university officials, the game times have been altered slightly. You will see the 5:30 game is now 1:30. We have the field’s secure even if it raining so weather should not affect the tournament.

Group 1
Viva
Southlake
Texas A&M

Group 2
All-Star Lacrosse
Team Kasbah
Tony's Tavern

Saturday
Field 1
10:00-Viva-Southlake
11:30-A&M-Southlake
1:30-Viva-A&M

Field 2
10:00-Tony's-All-Stars
11:30-Tony's-Kasbah
1:30-Kasbah-All-Stars

Sunday
Field 1
9:00-3rd-3rd
10:30-1st-1st

Field 2
9:00-2nd-2nd

Round robin play within each group will take place on Saturday.
0-2 teams will play each other Sunday at 9:00.
1-1 teams will play each other Sunday at 9:00.
2-0 teams will play each other Sunday at 10:30.
If all teams within a group end up 1-1, goal differential will
determine who plays when.

Maybe you can take the aluminum foil from an empty Freebird's burrito wrapper and make a trophy similar to the foil designs on the Freebird wall.

Fields

Postby ACE on Thu Jul 26, 2007 3:04 pm

Are the fields playable? There has been 0.5-1.0" since yesterday and the forecast is for up to 2" tomorrow and 70%-80% chance through the weekend.

Houston All-Stars defeated Texas A&M in the Finals.

Team Viva defeated Team Kasbah in the consolation game.

I think this year's competition was the best in a few years. I appreciate everyone making the effort to keep this summer tournament going and have success. Hope to see everyone back next year.
