Big News for MSU-Mankato
Posted: Mon Jul 16, 2007 1:24 pmRecently the club lacrosse team was asked by MSU Athletic Director Kevin Buisman to play a game directly following the homecoming football game October 6th in Blakeslee Stadium. Buisman asked if it was possible to play UND's Lacrosse team and with the help of Andrew Law and UND we made it happen. The game will be advertised in all of the school mail outs and homecoming brochures.
The game will start at 6:15 and will be free of charge. This was all possible because last season Buisman gave the team the opportunity to play in Blakeslee Stadium under the lights to play Steven's Point. Fans showed up in large numbers and showed the administration how entertaining lacrosse is.
