You're looking for Colin Cook, the team's president. Look in the "Coaching Opportunities" forum--there's an old inquiry from Colin about coaches there in an Augsburg thread so you should be able to PM him.

That they are. At the Spring meeting there were granted membership. Their president from what i recall is from out east and they seem to really have their stuff together as well. Also word from Chris Comella is that Dan O'Donnell a former Duluth player has taken over as their head coach
Good for them!!

Have they competed previously in any other leagues, or will next year be their inaugural season?

From what I can tell Augsburg hasn't played in a league before. I sure hope they are organized, I know they bought most of their equipment using funds that the school provided (nice to know they can at least get some money from the school). But a guy I know said that when he tried to go to some of their practices this spring he would show up and they would have no long poles whatsoever, and the team ended up cancelling many of their spring practices due to lack of interest.
Hopefully they'll get excited about playing again when the fall semester starts. It's great to see that they're entering the league, as long as they show up and play. They seem like a good fit.

augsburg lax
I was browsing around on the forum and got excited when I saw a thread about Auggie LAX!
We have never played in a league before but were pretty organized as far as setting a practice schedule and attending meetings to ask for money donations.
You are right in that our equipment was paid for with funds from the school and for that all of us are extremely grateful, however, we did have long poles show up to practice in the winter but once the spring semester started and our practice schedule changed, the lp's rarely made it to practice.
-side note, Colin, along with a majority of the team has left Auggie LAX either due to graduation or transfer to other schools.
If you need to contact us, PM me as I am a temporary rep.
