I was looking on the NLL website and saw that Patrick Corrigan from SFU signed with the Calgary Roughnecks. Just thought that that was neat and it looks great on the conference after an already stellar year.

didn't we have a couple of guys playing on the portland lumberjacks? there has to be at least a few more SFU guys on a pro team somewhere. SFU was pretty much the only team that was sending players anywhere post college lax. I hope to see some of the newly BIG "O" alumns make it to the big show.

Several SFU alumni have played in the NLL. . .the Lumberjax you are referring to are the Morgan brothers (Richard and Peter), who played at SFU in the late 90's. Curtis Hodgson is now with the San Jose Stealth. . .he played at SFU from 2000-2002 if I'm not mistaken. I think Athen Yuen also played for San Jose at one point.
I'm sure some SFU alum will chime in on this issue and can probably tell us exactly which Clansmen play in the NLL or have played in the NLL in recent years. . .

Vancouver has been granted a conditional team for the 2008 season. Two conditions must be met before the franchise is reborn - 1) sell 2500 season tickets in 30 days 2) secure a long term viable arena lease.
Majority owner is Whitsitt from Seattle (ex Sonics/Trailblazers/Seahawks) who could not secure an arena in Seattle so partnered with old owner Mayenknecht.
