Teams will be entered by school affiliation. So far, TCU and SFA are in. Contact me for more information and to register your team. Please commit your team by the end of July if possible.

The games will be played in Dallas. Specific field assignment has not been determined. I should know in the next couple of weeks and will post to the board and the team captains.

Games are at Jack Carter park in Plano.
Saturday, 10-3
Sunday 10-2
Saturday night, tournament party at Two Rows Point on Greenville Ave. 6-8pm.
6 teams in. SFA, TCU, UNT, A&M, UT and TX Tech
Come out and enjoy alumni. See everyone on Saturday (09/29).
I should be able to update game scores if anyone is interested. I'll def post pics and scores after the event. UT and A&M look to have strong teams (shocker). But don't count out the underdogs.

Thanks to all the guys that came out to play this weekend. It was a great weekend for lacrosse. After pool play on Saturday, the teams stood like this:
Tech 3-0
A&M 2-1
Texas 2-1
UNT 2-1
TCU 0-3
SFA 0-3
On Sunday UNT and Texas advanced to play Tech and A&M. In the final, Tech defeated A&M in a close one to win the inaugural event. Congrats to Texas Tech.
I'll post some of the photos soon. We'll do it again next year.

What a great event! Special thanks to John Newton and Tom Fitzsimmons for getting this thing started ... Should be a classic for years to come.

Saturday's highlights included the over zealous pit bull that found it necessary to urinate on or in anything in sight....including our team's bag of balls.

Haha! Seems as if the same pit bull (or at least an accomplice of his) found the field a few times on Sunday as well.

I would have to go with holstering his weapon after a long day of having his "guns up." Or gay cowboy. Not really sure at this point.
