Draft was completed on Wednesday May 30, 2007.
IF you were on the draft list, you should receive a phone call OR e-mail from your captain by next Monday, June 4, 2007
YOUR CAPTAINS will collect league dues (COST - $100.00.) on June 6 at Academy of Holy Angles at 7pm. NO TEAM HAS A GAME THAT NIGHT.
But if you do not pay by/on that day, you will lose your spot and it will be given to another who is waiting to play. We have a long waiting list for the league. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT THAT NIGHT, MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR CAPTAIN TO GET YOUR MONEY TO HIM ON/BY THAT DATE.
If you are on the waiting list, please show up on June 6th and be patient. We'll do the best we can. Typically, most teams lose 1-2 players that night, and thus, we have accomodated around 20 or so players on the wait list/who show up on Wednesday night. Past performance is no guarantee of future results on this issue.
The first games will be on FRIDAY JUNE 8, 2007 at AHA.
ALL OTHER GAMES WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, but no game on the July 4th week Wedneday night.

We will likely meet in the "auxiliary" parking lot. IF the field is open we'll go in there, but I'm uncertain if the MBSLA is using the fields or not.

Definite MBSLA games scheduled at AHA on the 6th.
Plan on meeting on the west side of the south parking lot. I think it will be pretty obvious. See you all tomorrow.

Show up at Holy Angels at 7pm with your league fees. We have master lists and will assign you to the proper team.

Friday's schedule will be decided when??? It would be nice to know a little earlier then Wednesday, especially since it's on a non-traditional day. Just something to think about for next year.

Ben:
I appreciate your question, but setting up the schedule is not begun until we confirm we will have 10 teams. Which - given the delay by many teams in submitting their "team forms" - was not until right before the draft.
And, of course, Lars and I have jobs and families.
I apologize if we didn't get the schedule out quick enough for y'all, but we are doing the best we can.

I definitely appreciate yours and lars' efforts, I wasn't trying to attack you for not doing it. I just wondered if you already had the schedule and weren't posting it. I just want to make sure I can make it to the first game. I know how hard it is to have a regular life and find time for a lacrosse life or sometimes it feels like the other way around. I love this summer league it is the best I have ever seen and I look forward to it every year, almost more then the regular season.

No worries Ben. Schedule will be handed out tonight.
1. We have 7 openings as of 4pm Wednesday. This is on track with my expectation that we would have about 10 - 20 openings tonight. Again, no guarantee past the 7 I know about now. But it won't surprise me if another 12 or so do not show up.
2. I presently have an 11 person waiting list. IF all of them show up, I'd expect they will all get spots. I know the first 7 will, again if they show up. I'll assign out from this list, and then go to the Wednesday Show-ups.
3. So - if you have a friend that has not signed up, but wants to play, tell him to show up tonight at AHA at 7pm, with his $, but prepared to be patient.

1. We collected team dues last night. We did take 18 people from the waiting list/showed up last night. All teams have 24 players and are full.
2. We handed out schedules to all people who signed the waiver last night. IF you sent a check in, but did not appear, you will recieve a schedule when you sign the waiver.
3. We will probably get the schedule up on mn-lacrosse, but I'm not sure when.
4. THERE WERE A FEW "REARRANGEMENTS" OF PLAYERS AT THE END OF LAST NIGHT - CAPTAINS ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL THE PLAYERS WHO WERE MOVED AND TELL THEM THEIR NEW TEAM.
See you all on friday. Please arrive 20 minutes early for your game so we can pass out jersies to you.
