Teams to watch next year

Postby MidwestLaxer on Mon May 21, 2007 1:02 pm

Now that the season is over, what teams are looking solid for next year?

Michigan is graduating Ferriell, Kauffman, Hudson, and Fox. Returners include Blechman, Kohlitz, Kearns, Morales and a few more.

Michigan State is loosing Zolkower, Clugston, Baines, Zdrojkowski, Diehl. Returners include Turchetti, Kegley, and Schumacher.

Buffalo is loosing Mierzwa, Loefke and Kelly, but returning Loeffler, and Lipp.

It looks to me like MSU's defense is taking the biggest hit, but Kauffman and Ferriel were also a big part of UM's D.

Will the North continue it's dominance?

Any dark horses?

Thoughts?

The word is State is getting a defense transfer from Butler... that would ease the loss. Plus we had a pretty solid bench for close d, but yes Zolkower and Clugston are huge losses.

I heard State has a LSM phenom on the horizon, Timmy Shoemaker. I also heard he'll be playing Goal, Attack, and Defense...all at the same time.

He can't hold a candle to Justin Combs.
