What's in the water in Lake Oswego, Ore.?

Friday night's scorecard from Oregon's 9-8 OT win over Colorado State reads like a who's who of Lake Oswego and Lakeridge lacrosse.

# Name G A
28 Cody Aldrich 2 1 (Lakeridge '05)
9 Josh Schane 1 1 (Lake Oswego '04)
14 Trevor Tesar 1 1 (Lakeridge '03)
22 Clay Knope 2 0 (Lake Oswego '05)
20 Ryan Warren 2 0 (Lake Oswego '03)
23 Justin Blackmore 1 0 (Lakeridge '06)

And don't forget about Turtle...(Lakeridge '03)

Good question. When I played at Southridge from 02-05, Lakeridge and Lake Oswego (along with OES) were always the teams to beat, and it seemed like every year they would reload with amazing talent. In fact, we lost a semifinal game in the state tournament to Lakeridge in a heartbreaker 9-8 in 2004, and they would eventually go on to win state. I believe the B division boasts some LO grads as well: SOUs Dan Snell(Defensive MVP), Montana's Dave Crosby, Willamette's Will Patton all come from the LO area i believe.

rumor has it that Cody "Sunshine" has played his last game in the green and gold as he will be transferring to a school for his passion of forestry work.

True, Sunshine is leaving to pursue his firefighting dream. In Bend I believe. Apparently it's something he has always wanted to do and the opportunity came and he went for it.

Now that Cody is leaving Oregon will be looking to fill some key wholes at the midfield. Their whole first line is gone.
