Summer League?

Summer League?

Postby Tonsoffun on Thu May 10, 2007 1:38 am

Hey, everybody. I play down south, but I'll be spending the summer up north near Berkeley and I'm hoping to play some lacrosse. Anybody know of any summer leagues in the area? I know Slingit has a league near Stanford, but I'd rather not drive an hour each way..

Thanks for the help--

There used to be ( and maybe they still have them) pickup games at the Cal field on weekends.

I remember hearing about those even last summer, I think they still do them on random week nights too.

In SB, there are pick-up games in the summer every once and a while, organized by the guys on the team and the alumni still in the area.

You have to be good to be invited to play though.

LMU on Saturday is your only consistent run in the area, for both summer league and club ball. Team Crossfire in LA is looking for players and they have practices on the weekends.

You don't have to be good to play for them.
