wanted to throw out a congratulations to Duluth on their 6 seed (their highest ever?) and to SJU and UST, 1 and 4 respectively. Both get byes in the first. I smell a third SJU UST game this year. Congratulations! Rip it up in Tejas.

I also would like to extend congrats to UMD and SJU. I also sense a rematch in the semi-finals... See you boys in Texas. We will represent the UMLL proudly.

congrats to the bulldogs!! many of the predictions I read were putting them at 8 or 9, which would've made a much tougher first round game and then BYU the second round!

both divisions seem much more evenly matched, especially A. hope to see some great games next week.

I'm bummed UST got bumped down to 4. I was hoping for a 1,2 finish!

Two teams from the same conference should not play each other until the finals. I don't like the B bracket for that reason. I know that presents a problem in the A Bracket for a few conferences, but make it the semis then.

It looks good for SJU and UST in the semis. I think UST wins this year. SJU has beaten UST 2x and last year UST lost to SJU in the tourney. This leads me to believe that it is the Tommies game this year.

UMD has a strange bid. Sonoma will be tough, but I think UMD can win that game. Then they probably face an Oregon team that could be tough. I think UMD can win that game. If Lindenwood advances then I think I UMD loses to them. I just like Lindenwood against UMD. I think in the semis UMD faces a Colorado team that is on a high for beating CSU. UMD easily brings Colorado back down to earth. Now we come to UMD in the finals, and I think they will play Michigan. I think Michigan wins the game. I just think it is their year. These are all predictions from gut and not looking at stats, but this is a strange tournament this year.

i also dislike the way the B brackets unfold like that, but I wonder if the powers that be take the match-ups in to consideration when seating teams, (i.e. ncaa bball brackets) or if they just rank the AQs and the at large bids 1 through 12 and whatever match-ups happen are strictly by chance.

Congrats to SJU, St. Thomas, and UMD. Should be a good tournament in Dallas. Enjoy the trip and good luck.

Bracket seeding is done directly from the poll.

UMD is 2/3 against Lindenwood (lifetime), and I think the one loss was by 1 goal or maybe 2, the wins have been 5+ goals ahead each.

That said, bracket A will be exciting and Sonoma although ranked 11, is a team with great tournament history and will most likely bring their A game.

The UMLL will be well represented by UMD,SJU and St. Thomas. The potential to go all the way is definitely there this year. Keep all the teams in your hearts and come watch and cheer, or listen on the internet. I am looking forward to some Texas sunshine and UMLL :D wins.
