Davidson @ Elon - by 2 or 3
Liberty @ SCAD - by 3
Michigan State @ Alabama - by 8+
Western Carolina @ Furman - by 4
Elon @ Southern Virginia - by 2
Liberty @ Alabama - by 5+

++=======================++

TO beat Liberty you have to be able to stop #6, and I just don't think either of these teams has the defense to do it - what remains to be seen is if Liberty will run up a score, ...

ALSO can someone explain to me Michigan State @ Alabama? Does the Tide have that much pull?? also, MSU @ ECU?? still a tundra up in Mich??

LOOKS to be some good matchups though, eventful weekend...

Elon:

Please give yourself more credit. Elon by 7 over Southern Virginia. Well
you are almost right concerning Cory. But now we have 3 Guys in the line up from injuries that we did not have against Elon and so we have a few more weapons for Scad, Bama. and Nicholls State. Loyola contacted us and says they have a Team to field. We will make a decision if we will put that game back on the schedule while in New Orleans. We are close to 100% from these injuries and I would hate to lose someone in a game that did not mean anything. We will see. Elon, good luck aginst Davidson.

Good luck to Alabama! It's good to see that the old team is scheduling some good competition. Beat the Spartans and the Flames!!!

after a really cold and windy battle in burlington, we came up with the win.

not 100% sure of the score as they stopped posting it after the wind kept blowing over the scoreboard.

Davidson 11
Elon 7

good work elon and best of the luck with the rest of the season.

SCAD and Liberty

Postby SCADLax#10 on Sat Mar 12, 2005 4:10 pm

Contrary to what everyone predicted SCAD pulled out a win against Liberty. It was a great game from both sides. Liberty is a great team and plays with alot of class. Best game weve had all season. Our defence was able to shut down #6 and our offence steped up and put some shots in the cage. It was a great win. GO BEES!!

congrats guys. just as we were posted to lose by a few to Elon, i know it feels good to get the "upset". it seems that the tournament bids are becoming a little less predictable with all this strong conference play.

You know I thought that the "B" message board was pretty quiet this weekend. Now I know why! Great win SCAD! Great win Cats!

SVU 2 Elon 18, the game was 4 - 2 after the first quarter. The rest was a nightmare. A lot of number 32 open all day long. The weather was cold and windy, the field muddy, Elon is very talented.

I feel bad posting this.
Michigan State 22
Alabama 1

Most pitiful game I have seen. MSU is an excellent team to us, but we should have done a whole lot better. Our defense got pummeled, and I think TOP was something like.
MSU - 53
Bama - 7

Hopefully we can bounce back against liberty, or keep the score lower.
