Obviously apparently POY is better than Team A.

Great choices on POY on O and D. I don't think you could get a ball in the net against UMD point blank.

Congrats to all that is on this list, it is very well deserved, hope to see you all at the All-Star game, maybe after we can go out and have a couple of sodas.

I believe that all coaches in this league sacrifice more time and effort than most other sports. Lacrosse is a sport that once you've fallen in love, you just can't let go. And so I know there are a lot of coaches that would be worthy every year of COTY (especially guys like Rob Graff from UMD, with one of his best seasons ever, or from St. Olaf, who had an amazing run this year).

But for now, I would like to say a huge Congratulations to Coach Panch for all his work with our team this year. As a player it was amazing to see his commitment to our team, and his leadership made it possible for us to take such big strides toward becoming a better team and better people. Even though he was married less than a year ago, Coach Panch gave up more weeknights and weekends than anyone can count for a bunch of guys who just wanted a second chance. All his hard work, effort, sweat, worry, determination, and strength have definitely paid off, and myself and the rest of the team couldn't be happier. Congratulations Coach, you deserve it.

Further, congrats especially to Pete Nelson and Jake Launert, and the rest of the AC selections. Realize that your hard work is paying off, and thanks to you and your skills and leadership our league is getting more and more respect from the rest of the nation every year.

Oh and Duluth, give 'em hell in Dallas!

First off congradulations to Coach Ojeda. From what i got to see of MU this year which wasnt a whole lot but he has Marquette headed in the right direction. Keep up the good work

Second, Well done by all players that made All Conference. I went to see a few of Duluth's games this year and you definately can see why the guys got their awards. Kloss, Jake, Casey all those guys are top notch players.

Good Luck in Dallas and bring back a national championship to the UMLL.

Thanks for the award. I wanted to say even with all the heated discussion about who should be on the All Conference Teams, I thought the teams got it correct. Nice job to all the winners.

Good luck Duluth in Dallas. You will have the whole UMLL standing behind you.

That struck me as interesting as well. I think in years past people were first-team and POY in respective categories. I like the change though, it gets more deserving people into 1st team, without downplaying the achievments of the top players.

If anyone who made all conference teams or honorable mention could PM me their contact info (phone #, email) I would greatly appreciate it, as I am setting up the All-Star game this summer.

mavlax23 wrote:What about Stevens Point's #10 Joe Cihak, he is a dynamic player and someone I thought deserved some kind of head nod his direction. He is only a sophomore and his skills are up there with the top players in the league. Just my opinion, other then that I think the teams are spot on. I would put our 1st team guys up against any league in the nation.

Year of player shouldn't matter. Sounds like good news for him then - he has 2 years to step up his game and get noticed if he wants to hop on these teams.

That's exactly what I was trying to say, I am sure if he keeps at it he will get recognition.
