Indiana is not playing. They have opted out of the weekend because of finals and other commitments. The CCLA invited other south teams, and Ball State accepted.

Thank you for the clarification with IU. Changing the dates of the tournament so late in the season seems to have had played a role in their decision, as well as other teams, next in line, who also passed.
However, its unfortunate that a member of the CCLA executive board made unfounded allegations without the proper knowledge of the situation. It shows a true lack of judgment and character to try to defame another organization through such a widely utilized medium for family, friends, and alumni.

I apologize, it was another situation where a team failed to play a game due to a fraternity event. It was not IU, but another Indiana team, their issues had more to do with graduation and exams as Matt cleared up.
Sorry IU team, family, friends, and alumni.

I dont believe Andy attempted to defame or make an unfounded allegation, simply a slight miscommunication. This whole situation is something that the team involved (IU), other teams, and the league can use in future planning of this event in order to avoid such logistical problems. Good luck teams this weekend!

Going to be a tough weekend for Carnegie Mellon. 3 cases of Mono, one blown MCL, a broken toe for our best attackmen, a blown hammy for our 1st team midfielder, 7 cases of diagnosed flu that just kicked in and a herniated disk. This encompasses 8 of our ten starters. Ohh yea, this happened this week. We'll be pounding the vitamin C, hitting the PT and sleeping at the Quality Inn baby!

Ack! Injuries and illness are part of managing a season, but that is insane!
Good luck today.

Dayton 13
GVSU 7
Score doesnt reflect how close the game really was. Dayton jumped to a quick and early lead and fought to keep it that way.
For all of the doubters of dayton... they are legit. Good luck against calvin.
