BYU main page article
No offense to the girl, but my head hurts after reading that article on the front page. She must be young. Lots of unnecessary superlatives, over-the-top adjectives etc. Good to see BYU getting press with the school though. It's a good way for writers to get into the sports groove by covering the club sports teams. Hopefully she will learn that she doesn't have to dress the game up SO much to impress the campus . . . .
Always on point . . .

I agree that the writing of the article needs help. The press is nice but if the article is written poorly (ie: choppy, trying to use too many big words, etc...) then it's not so great. I read that in the school papaer yesterday and was wondering why they don't have someone better reporting the games.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

THis line cracks me up
"Austin then proceeded to rifle the ball behind his back, stinging the bottom corner of the net for the tenth point of the game. The BYU sidelines erupted with shouts of amazement at Austin’s fancy goal."

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis! How do they do that?!
