Guys,
Last summer we met up @ the GT turf a few times and had some pick up games. We often had 30-40 guys show up. Mostly current and post-college guys from GT, UGA, KSU and GaState. Very few high schoolers show up but the ones that do can hold their own. It was always a really good time and we'd get a few hours of playing in.
We're looking at a Mid-May start date (more information will be posted later) and we'd start at around 8:00pm on Wednesday nights. We actually had a few former/current NCAA guys randomly show up last summer. It was a really good time and we wanna keep it going.
Of course, it's free.
Any questions, PM me or post em here. But I'll repost/bump this when we decide on an exact start date.

Directions to the GT Turf from 85/75 going south (Connector):
1) Get off on the 10th/14th street exit, go straight through first light past the Wolf Camera, make a right onto 10th (you should be facing a large parking lot, that's the BBall arena)
2) Make a left onto Northside (after Rocky Mtn Pizza)
3) The road splits, stay in far left lane.
4) There'll be parking spaces on the left, you'll see the field/sand vball courts. Park anywhere.
Directions to the GT Turf from 85/75 going north(Connector):
1) Get off on the 10th street exit and make a left (West).
2) Make a left onto Northside (after Rocky Mtn Pizza)

Just a heads up..
There's also a facebook group (for those of you with facebook) for the "event". Search "Pick-Up Lacrosse @ GT" and it'll show up. You should be able to attend w/o being invited on there. Im posting information on there for people who don't use the msg boards here.

We had 45-50 guys last night (2 goalies):
GT alum/current, UGA alum, Kennesaw State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Presbyterian, St Andrews, Queens College, Princeton (Lasda), an Oakland alum and a Colorado State alum (napolilli) to boot. Even some guy named Sorrel that runs some lacrosse store or so I hear..

Yeah Doublestixx is Thursday nights at Panthersville again this summer.
You not reffing it? With such a convenient location and no traffic...I can't imagine why only 7 guys show up per team halfway through the season...

Only when I play in the first 2 games of the night in the playoffs...then when it's time for my team's game...having to forfeit because we had less than 10 guys. Poooooo....poo I tell ya.
That's why I play both days.

Double Stix
Why are there games down there?
It would seem more of the LAX players are on the North side of town.
