next years play

I know, I know playoffs aren't even going yet, but my team is trying to see what travel we can setup already. I am from Western Oregon University, part of the PNCLL-B division. We are a small school (4,000 undergrad) and completely self-funded like many other programs. We also understand that travel, especially OOC travel, is a very difficult thing to accomplish. There is hotel setup, getting a solid grip on the scheduling, and paying for those trips are another whole big problem. As a few of the WCLL (biola, oxy, UCI) teams know travel can be done for OOC games.
WOU is hoping to get a team or two that would be willing to travel up here next season. OOC travel is great for team building, and helps to prove to all the nay-sayers voting out there that your program should not be over looked. If any team is interested in making a good trip please contact me as soon as you can. We here at WOU would suggest that any WCLL team making the trip try to hit these schools:
1) first stop should be Southern Oregon Univ. in Ashland OR. A very solid team and a decent field setup. SOU will be the first team you would hit on the drive from California. Hotels are close by the school and very cheap (52 dollars a room for 4 people).
2) second, after that game make the 6 hour push to Monmouth or Salem. In Salem you can play Willamette Univ. not a powerhouse by any means but deffinatly a program trying to shape itself up.
In Monmouth you can play Western Oregon University, a team doing very well this year and should be solid next year, only loosing 2 starting players, one d-pole and one-middie.
WOU and WU are only 20 min from each other so you can choose to stay at either location for multiple nights.
3) other teams in close proximity: Lewis and clark-another team like WU, and we at WOU are more than willing to try and get another top PNCLL team down to our area if you are interested in playing higher ranking teams.
AGAIN, if you have any thoughts about playing some OOC games in the PNCLL please contact me. We are willing to help find nearby hotels and help in any way.
