Traffic in Atlanta, if you aren't used to it, can be pretty brutal. Especially on a Friday.
Please allow for plenty of travel time if you are coming into either school for Friday's quarterfinal games. It can take you over 60 minutes to get to the sites AFTER you get to Atlanta. Sometimes more.
If you are coming down 85 South from the Carolinas, I would plan on 45 minutes minimum from Pleasant Hill Rd exit.
If you are coming in from the South of the city, I would plan on 75 minutes minimum once you hit downtown ATL.
Be forewarned.
Warning to all traveling to North Atlanta this weekend!

Coming from the North is not all that bad. I came to practices at downtown atlanta every wednesday and from exit 139 off I-85 to get to Pleasant Hill or so (about 25-30 miles out) traffic is not that bad at all. All together it usually took me an hour and fifteen from athens to atlanta driving at about 430-530.. If you're coming from South Carolina for the game at 8pm, all likelihood you're coming from I-20 so thats a different story.

Depending on what time you are exiting off of pleasant hill....you may hit about 30-45 min. worth of traffic just to get to Northview from the exit.
